The Asian Banker conducts an annual Leadership Achievement Awards programme that focuses on the performance of regulators, CEOs, chairmen and boards in the financial services industry in Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. The citation is widely acknowledged in the industry as one of the most prestigious and highly coveted individual award. This year, the Innovation Leadership Achievement Awards programme will recognise outstanding individuals in innovation in financial institutions, non-banking financial institutions as well as fintech and other organisations, who play a pivotal role in introducing and implementing innovation in their organisations. These are executives whose vision, efforts, and commitment inspire and champion the innovation capabilities that are already well regarded by peers in the industry. The programme is predicated on the belief that leadership in innovation is demonstrated by the ability to execute a well communicated vision as an innovation champion, by inspiring and leading a strong team, with courage and passion in overcoming specific adversities in order to deliver a solution that has the potential to disrupt the market and achieve a strong and sustainable business performance. To celebrate the achievements of top performing CEOs, chairmen and future leaders, the Leadership Achievement Awards Ceremony 2021 will be held virtually on Thursday, 29 July 2021. As part of the ceremony, there will be a dialogue session with the winning leaders who will share their insights and views on the current themes that are reshaping the financial services industry.
