Submission Details

Who is eligible?

Institutions, banks, and non-banks with operations in Asia Pacific: Australia, Cambodia, China, Bangladesh, Brunei, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, among others. Should you wish to participate in the awards in more than one country, please complete and send in a separate set of submission kit for each country.

Will institutions that do not make a submission be considered?

The Asian Banker may decide, at its own discretion and on a strictly case-by-case basis, to consider transaction institutions that do not make a submission. However, transaction institutions that do not make a submission may have a ranking that is not up to their expectations due to unavoidable difficulties in gathering full and accurate data/information when a submission has not been made.

Completing the submission questionnaire and FI satisfaction survey

Submissions can be made within the same document by completing each segment as necessary. The Asian Banker creates a ranking of the Best Transaction Banks in Asia, so completing the required survey for Best Transaction Bank is mandatory for all banks, irrespective of making submission for any sub-categories such as Best Cash Management Bank, Best Trade & Supply Chain Finance Bank, etc. For all other categories, please answer each question if you wish to nominate for that category.

We have retained the Financial Institution (FI) satisfaction survey in the excel format. This survey is to be completed by domestic and regional banks only on the separate excel spreadsheet attached to the submission kit email.

You may supplement the information here with an additional presentation (PDF, word) or data packs. Always provide key financials in USD (thousand/million/billion) and frame your answers in the context of the location/region relevant to your submission.

All information you provide will be kept in the strictest confidence.

The Asian Banker will release its Annual Transaction Banking Report at the end of each year, which collates the findings and publishes generic information that discusses trends and emerging best practices from the programme but does not discuss any specific submission under any circumstances whatsoever.

Commitment to Integrity Statement

The Asian Banker is committed to the highest level of integrity in the conduct of all its awards programmes. At no time, would we conduct ourselves in a manner that can give the industry reason to doubt the impartiality of the decision-making process involved. We make a clear distinction between the commercial aspects of running an awards programme which go towards underwriting the costs of researchers and the time involved, and the neutrality with which our researchers make their decisions.

We trust that the industry takes the awards presented by The Asian Banker as representing the most prestigious recognition of their work as well as professional careers.

When to submit?

Please complete the questionnaire and email it to transactionawards@tab.global no later than 07 February 2025.
