Ms. Rona Morgan
An experienced International Banker, Risk and Governance specialist, Rona has worked extensively in the risk and regulatory space, spearheading the development of regulatory approaches for capital and risk appetite in major banks in SE Asia and Australia. Latterly, she led the development of a professional association in data protection across the APAC region and now manages her own Risk consultancy and Board portfolio. She is certified in Corporate Governance with INSEAD (IDP-C), is a non-executive director and board advisor.Rona has been working with The Asian Banker for more than 10 years and is a Risk Management Advisory Council member, Risk and Regulation Working Group member, and Risk Management Awards Judge. Her other passions include travel, culture, The Arts, and health and fitness.
Mr. Peter Deans
The former Group Chief Risk Officer of the Bank of Queensland (BOQ) in Australia and comes with a finance career of over 32 years. He has been awarded multiple times by the Australian Banking & Finance magazine for his achievements. Currently he is the Chair and Non-Executive Director of Maia Financial Group (owned by KKR and HPS Investment Partners) and a Non-Executive Director of Trade for Good Pty Ltd and The Regtech Association. Mr. Deans is also the Creator & Founder of the 52 Risks management framework.
