Making the submission
Your application should be submitted in soft copy to riskawards@theasianbanker.com
1. Who is eligible?
All banks and non-bank financial institutions (including insurance companies, brokerages, credit companies and finance companies) with operations in the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions are eligible to make a submission.
2. What documents do I need to submit?
You need to fill out the questionnaire and address the award-specific criteria for each award category included as part of your answers to the general questions posed here. Your submission should be accompanied by a copy of your latest annual report.
3. Will institutions that do not make a submission be considered?
The Asian Banker may decide, at its own discretion and on a strictly case by case basis, to consider institutions that do not make a submission. However, institutions that do not make a submission may have a ranking that is not up to their expectations due to unavoidable difficulties in gathering comprehensive and accurate information.
4. What makes a good submission?
Submissions that contain the necessary documentation give the team of researchers and panel of judges a clearer picture of the capabilities of the institution. A detailed description, together with documentation of how the institution’s risk management core competencies are applied either through an event or a strategy, will greatly help the review process.
Submissions are evaluated based on various scorecards.
5. Is the information submitted made available to the public?
All business sensitive information provided will not be published in any form whatsoever that could reveal the names of the institutions involved. The information selected for determining industry benchmarks will not refer to any institution by name. A Commitment to Integrity statement can be provided upon request
6. When is the deadline for submissions?
To be considered for an award, please make a complete submission to us no later than 31 March 2022. Also view the evaluation time frame tab for more information.
